We, Bridge in India wish all of you great success in the event you are participating..
Experts better than us, Captains & Non playing captains and Coaches would have prepared you well for this event. Play as per their directions
After observing in BBO, We suggest the following :-
1. Believe Partner and not opponent. Landing in a correct contract is a must.
2. Avoid Psyches during bidding. Partnership understanding and confidence are a must.
In world tournaments, there are rules and you are under scrutiny.
3. Bid and play according to the game you are playing
Play for IMP strategy when you are in a TEAM event.
Play for MP strategy when you are in a Pair event.
(In team event do not double unless you are sure of 2 down. (Double may help declarer.)
DONT double part score bid as penalty. If you are right , you get probably 2 or 3 IMP.
If wrong you lose more IMPs and if redoubled and made, it is worse).
